One of the things that was available was their Tony Moly EXPERT Triple BB Cream which works for whitening, wrinkle prevention and care, and UV protection (SPF45, PA+++).
"Expert triple BB cream SPF45PA+++ Diffused reflection makes prism effects under any lights, completes spotless shiny skin Expert 3D Collagen BB cream SPF40PA+++ Boosting Collagen synthesis effect helps skin reconstruction. Filling between the wrinkle."
I had the privilege of trying out some sample sizes of the product and despite my aversion for high-SPF BB Creams (I much prefer getting my SPF from a moisturizer or sunscreen), this one was actually pretty good!
Consistency, Blend-ability and Coverage
This BB Cream really packs a punch cover-wise. The consistency is thick and somewhat heavy, almost like a slightly viscous tinted moisturizer. If you've been reading this blog for long enough, I'm not a huge fan of heavy BB creams, but I can probably make an exception for this one for reasons I'll be discussing later.
So Like I said, the coverage on this BB Cream is awesome if you know how to apply it right. The trade-off, however, is that because of its viscosity, it's somewhat difficult to blend and sets quite quickly. You have to have fast hands for this one! A good tip is to actually apply a little at a time to different portions of your face rather than the usual dabbing of product all over and then blending.
Color and Finish
I think it's obvious from the pictures above and the latter photos that this BB cream leaves a white cast. That's expected considering how much SPF this BB Cream packs in its arsenal. I guess I don't have to say that this isn't very flash-photography friendly either. That being said, despite its light color, This some how oxidized to fit my skin tone quite well, albeit being just a shade too light once I set it with my correct toned setting powder.
Despite the color fail, I have to say I'm rather infatuated with the finish that this BB Cream gives. Even though its consistency is thick and heavy, it still manages to smooth out the skin and sits on the natural skin in a sheer manner, all while evening skin tone and providing decent coverage. I mean, in the picture above, you can only really tell I have BB cream on one side of my face because of the color, otherwise, the skin texture is pretty natural! This is a huge plus for people who don't really have problematic skin, but this also smooth out skin for those who have problems with texture.
Longevity, Oil Control and Wear
This is what sold the the EXPERT Triple BB Cream for me. I wore this once through a full 12 hour school day and the oil-control is awesome. Need I mention it's summer here in the Philippines and the average temperature out is 35-38 degrees Celsius. Crazy, huh?
For the pictures in this post however, I only got to wear it for 6 hours but still, the wear is amazing. You can pretty much tell from the picture below how well this wears throughout the day (I wish I could say the same for my lips haha). My concealer sort of gave in throughout the day, thus the dark under eyes, but the rest of my face stayed relatively matte. There's no slipping and very minimal shine and dare I say the color even blended out to my natural skin tone.Basically, this BB Cream (at least on my skin), got better with wear!
What sorcery is this!?!?!?
Honestly, I have a feeling if I was more diligent with blotting and touching up, I would've looked like I had fresh makeup on the entire day :P The pictures below were taken after I retouched my lips. Tell me, can you even tell that my makeup was applied 6 hours prior? Haha.
So all in all, this BB Cream was a huge gamble for me. I really don't like thick BB Creams but I might actually consider using this one for whole-day functions if I want to stay fresh all day. It's somewhat reminiscent to my all-time fave FairyDrops Candy Bar BB Cream except with SPF (and that unsightly white cast in flash-photography). If I were given the choice, I'd wear this to outdoor functions and the Fairydrops BB Cream for nights out, but they're essentially on par with each other when it comes to quality.
I can't exactly vouch for the whitening and wrinkle care properties since I only have 2 samples (which lasted me an entire week of use btw) but I guess it's nice to note that it claims to help on those aspects.
On my skin, this can actually pass off as a concealer instead of a BB Cream and I doubt my skin would be able to take me wearing this on my face for more than a week because of its heavy consistency. I might actually consider purchasing a full bottle if I had the chance :P
So to sum it all up.
Pros:
Pretty long-wearing on my combination skin.
Decent coverage
Natural finish

Oxidizes well on my skin
No slippage of fading throughout the day (on my skin).
Cons:
Thick, heavy consistency
Difficult to Blend/ Sets quickly
