On a good note however, I've finally been able to find a new makeup remover/cleanser. I've recently run out of my batch of Eskinol products so I've been on the hunt for some new products to try.
My eyes settled on this cutely packaged (agh, I'm a sucker for cute packaging) Cleansing Cream from Etude House while I was shopping for a makeup swap a few weeks back - the Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Cream in Aloe Tea.
The one I got was just one of three variants of the Happy Tea Time Cleansing Cream variants (they also have cleansing foam available). It's available in Lemon Tea, Milk Tea and Aloe Tea. I was on the fence as to which to get so I went ahead and asked the lady at the counter about how each one was different. Might I say, she was very helpful the entire time I was shopping, answering my questions and handing my tissues every time I needed to swatch something haha.
Back to the topic - She explained that Milk Tea was for sensitive skin and was hypoallergenic, Aloe Tea was for dry skin and Lemon Tea was better for oily skin. When I told her I had combination skin she said that most of the time, they work equally as well for combination skin, so I should just pick based on the smell haha. And this is how I ended up getting Aloe Tea. #overlyhonestshopper
Price for Pruduct
Another selling point for me was the fact that one container which contained 180mL of product was just 198PHP (~4.5USD). Pretty much a steal right? So price-wise, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Packaging
Where packaging is concerned, it's a very minimalist screw-on container. It doesn't come with a spatula, but I have a lot left over so I'm not very concerned about that. I'm particularly in love with the lid which is matte-ish and has a cute little teapot embossed on it.
Texture, Consistency and Efficacy
The texture is pretty straightforward, pretty similar to a cold cream except a little bit runnier and not as oily. I really like the consistency because a little bit of product goes a long way and it doesn't leave my face with a layer of greasiness but rather just a moisturized plumpness (it's hard to describe).
It pretty much works on all of my eyeliners but takes a little bit of working through to get rid of my heavy duty mascara. But most of all, it's not irritating at all, so even if I get some in my eye (which I have the clumsy tendency of doing) it doesn't sting.
I've road tested a few products below just to see how well the cleanser works.
1 - Etude House Drawing Show Brush Liner; 2 - K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 24h; 3- Etude House Drawing Show Dot Liner; 4 - L'oreal Contour Khol; 5 - Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner; 6 - Brown Eyeshadow on Urban Decay Primer Potion
The cleanser did a pretty good job with just one run and swipe, and after a good dowse of warm water, most of the product came off. It works a lot better with wax-based products than it does with liquid based products, but it still gets the job done.
So all in all, I'm pretty content with this purchase, and its moisturizing properties have done wonders for my skin, particularly in the eye area.
So in summary, let's lay out the pros and cons.
Pros
Cheap! (198PHP for 180mL of product)
Cute packaging
Nice scent
Variants available for different types of skin
Hypoallergenic
Non-irritating
Removes liquid eyeliner, gel liner and pencil liner pretty well
Cons
Doesn't come with a spatula
Needs some gentle coaxing/rubbing when it comes to heavy duty mascara
All in all I definitely think this product is worth a try. It hasn't failed me yet.

Yay! Congrats on the contest~ you'll do super well.
I really like the look of this product. I love cold creams, and lemon scent, so maybe I should try the lemon tea one? Since I have oily skin~ it looks so pretty too. Simple and cute!
Just bought the Milk tea variant of this today! Haha Goodluck Ada! & see you on the 28th. ♥ :)
You know the other day I decided to click on your blog wondering where you'd gone or if I just wasn't getting any updates from your blog! I'm sorry to hear about your skin!! So glad that you are back Ada~ I've missed reading your posts :'D
I haven't looked to into Etude House's skincare too much but it seems to be just as good as their make up. Will need to look into it more!
Also congrats and good luck for the 28th!
YAY you're back :D!!! I saw this on ebay in the past and it really reminds me of the Ponds cold cream. Sounds like it smells much more pleasant and not old lady-ish though haha! According to your review sounds like it works better than the cold cream as well. I hate that greasy residue that is left on my face after using it. Another awesome review as usual! & Congrats on placing in the top 3rd ~ Hush hush but I liked your entry the most ^^;; Good luck!

Seems to be a good one! After using a facial wash makeup will be 100% gone! Packaging is quite cute, but the fact that it's jar... D:
Super duper good luck!! When you were still on level 1 i made sure to vote for you and I'm so happy that you reached this point! I honestly think that you deserve to win!! Good luck and I hope you win!
Thanks Nhi! I really appreciate all the support :)
Wheee~! Thanks Junjun :) I'm taking all your support to the competition haha
Thanks Kassidy! I love cold creams as well, especially Pond's. But I like this more since it's less thick and doesn't leave so much of a greasy after-feel. The lemon scent is great!
Whooo~ Great minds think alike hahaha. See you as well! I'm excited to be able to meet you face to face for the first time haha
Thanks Jing-jing. The weather's been doing crazy things to my skin, but it's under control now TT_TT
Etude House's skincare is actually pretty legit, but a little bit overpriced. This was one of the few things that was actually priced reasonably in the Etude House here in my country, so I couldn't help but get it :)
It smells really fresh! And it's a lot easier to wipe off and remove with warm water than cold cream. Plus no greasy residue! Haha thanks for the support Amanda! I'll be taking it all to the finals so here's to hoping I win! :)
Thanks Amz! See you there~ :3
Thanks Raimar! I'll definitely check your giveaway out :)
So true! It makes removing my makeup so much easier. And yeah, the jar is a bit disconcerting but I don't mind it too much :)
Thanks Geela! I'm really appreciative of all the support since the beginning! I'll take all your support and use it to fuel my entry for the finals!
i will try this one :) super affordable and according to your review mabango :) hehe . makabili nga po :)
Yeah! It's one of the cheapest cleansers I've ever bought o_o Even cheaper than my usual one from the drugstore, tapos super effective pa <3
Ada, hindi ba enough pag wet wipes lang gagamitin pang tanggal ng make up? :p thanks!
Some wetwipes kasi aren't formulated for use on facial skin and contain a lot of alcohol derivatives na minsan nakakadry --- at least or me. I also really don't like the abrasion and pull that I get from wiping my face with pressure from wet wipes. With cream cleansers, what I personally do is apply them to areas where I have heavy makeup (like mascara on eyes) and let them dissolve the makeup. I don't wipe the cleanser of and instead I wash it off directly with my facial wash in two goes: one to remove the cleanser and the dissolved makeup and a second go for cleaning :)
This method, I've found, works best for my skin :)
im excited to try this =) wohoo!
Super cheap and super effective. It's one of my loves right now. I've been using everyday since buying it and I haven't even finished a third of it.
So affordable! :) I really love cleansers and this is is what im buying next!:)
this product looks interesting,is it not enough to use toner to remove makeup?
