It's ALIVE!

Okay, so I finally fixed the little IE glitch, but I've been hearing that people on lower resolutions have been experiencing a few problems with my site. Darn it. I guess you really can't please everybody. If you're having problems viewing the layout please feel free to comment, email or leave me a tag with a screenshot of it so I can get right to fixing the problem.

That aside, it almost feels as if I'm free. I have an audio advertisement and a print ad to get to for our Economics Business Plan, some clearance crap and then graduation and I am officially a high school graduate. Everything feels so surreal. It feels like just yesterday that I was struggling in Filipino class for my lack of Tagalog Language skills. That was amazingly sad actually.

And here I am, finishing up my last few weeks of high school, still speaking English as my primary medium, but at hey, at least I can converse naturally in Tagalog now, right? Don't judge me

Throughout my four years of life in Pisay, I've had my computer crash thrice. Twice of the three requiring me to buy a new unit entirely, meaning over my four years of pisay, despite having gathered enough pictures to equivalent a goldmine, I've lost them all. When my computer crashed two months ago, I lost pictures from second year to fourth year. I lost all my project and sadly, even our second year History Book Project.

So for the past few days I've been scouring the net for pictures I might have uploaded onto my numerous net accounts, photobucket, my old livejournals, anything. Heck, I've even been sifting through my email as far back as early 2006. That's how desperate I was.

I hit jackpot when I opened my photobucket this morning. I was sifting through my old photobucket account and found more than a few embarrassing first year pictures. Particularly ones of the fair, but that's beside the point. Do you guys remember this?

I know, it seems like so long ago, and gosh everybody looks so young. I mean look at Estelle and Kat! They look like effing toddlers! And dude, those computers in the Tech-Prep room? They are ANCIENT. LOL. Whatever did happen to the Tech-Prep room? Was that Tech-Prep room the new CS Lab with the awesome WD2 PCs? Or was it the the new Humanities Faculty? It was such a long time ago I can't even remember >_> How sad.

It's hard to believe my time here in Pisay is almost over. We never really grasp the value of just being able to walk the halls of the SHB, or just being able to hang out at the Caf, or at the front lob or at the Gaz.

It's wayyyyy too early for me to get senti over everything, but I can't help it. It feels just like the last day of ISYF at Singapore, but I know this is going to be a million times more heart-wrenching.

It's odd. I never felt this way when I left ICA. Don't ask me why. I don't miss the ICA campus, despite it being my alma matter for like, eight years. I spent half the amount of time here in Pisay and yet it feels a hundred times more like home.

I'm going to miss the snarky teachers, the bad facilities and the stinky boys' bathrooms. Heck, I even miss the teachers that aren't even here anymore. Can you say Ma'am Beltran? Yeah, I actually miss her now.

WTF is wrong with you Ada???? Get a hold of yourself. Rarrr.

But yeah, I'm feeling the sentimentality quite early (as I always do). Again, don't judge me.

One door closes and another opens up soon after.

I'm going to Bohol this Tuesday so I might be missing afternoon Clearance. I might still be going to school in the morning though. I guess the adventure starts here. :)

I might start vlogging over the summer. It seems like a fun thing to do, though the audience here in the Phil isn't the largest out there. When it comes to things like these, I seriously wish I lived in the US. In the US, vlogs actually get views and awesome people like whatadayderek and shanedawson and lisanova aren't weirdos. In all honesty, I find them awesome. It may just be the shallow humor talking, but they are some of the coolest people alive right now.

Speaking of the pros of living in the US, Sonny with a Chance Season 2 is out in the US March 14. Not sure how long it'll take for the episode to make its way onto youtube or torrent for downloading, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's soon after. Reruns of SWAC on Disney-Asia are killing me.

That's it for this post. I'm prattling on and on and this post is going nowhere. Hopefully I'll have more substantial things to blog about tomorrow.

Ciao for now~

BTW! It was Sterling Sandmann Knight's (Chad Dylan Cooper from SWAC) birthday yesterday. And he's sick on his haburday. That sorta sucks, so I'm hoping a haburday from me will make a difference. Yeah right, Ada. Lol, this obsession is so going to drive me to hell someday.
