So UPCAT's over. I seriously OVERSTUDIED. But I'm not even going to talk about that because HELLO, it's over. I'd rather talk about what happened after.
So for anybody who STILL doesn't know, we've been hosting and catering to a number of foreigners for the past few months.
Last month, Armand paid a visit from Hawaii, representing WAIALUA and all their Robotics Glory.
The month before, we had some Fil-Australians come (we took them out EVERYWHERE)and at that time, I had decided that nothing could get any sexier than an Australian accent.
Fast forward to the past few weeks. While we were at the FRC at Hawaii, we met some JWs from another team. Twas awesome really. So we got together after the competition, ate at a local Maxx's (IN HAWAII!) and met their families. They're REALLY, and when I say really, I mean REALLY, musically inclined. The sons of the Domingos, Avery and Justin are WOW at piano (not to mention guitar). They have SO MANY AWARDS, it's scary. Stewart, their cousin is a PRO at the violin. And their voices - heaven.
So yeah, to return their hospitality, we've been letting them stay at our Condo at Eastwood (yay for shopping everyday).
Right after UPCAT, my brother rushed me out of the Eng Building in the rain and we drove straight for Eastwood for my "after party".
We went bowling just in time for disco night with black lights. I was so happy I wore my Six Flags shirt. It was hilarious. The guys borrowed a six pound ball and threw it with HULK SMASH power. The ball practically lofted half the lane before it took out all the pins.
And I realized I am FAIL at billiards. FAIL.
That was a particularly unhealthy day. We had subway for dinner, popcorn and CandyCorner candy in between and at the end some Salt and Vinegar chips. Yay for high blood pressure.
We ended up coming home at about one.

Right now, as I am typing this, I'm actually drying my hair, as we just got back. Today was awesome. Right after our Congregation Meeting, we went out for lunch at Red Kimono. There was so much Japanese food =_= I couldn't even finish my katsu. My brother drove them back to Eastwood while I took a nap at home, because God knows I need the sleep.
Then we went over to Tita Val's house to practice for our mom's anniversary. We brought the Hawaiians along and the jamming was EPIC. I've never met such talented musicians in my life. When they sing, I just want to bundle them up and embrace them til there's no tomorrow because WOW. Just wow. I'm not even making sense anymore.
We watched Avery's graduation vid (he's a year senior to me), and were floored by how cute he was as a kid (and how his dad looked like Bruce Lee). And they all have ABS :)) Justin's abs are hard as rock. Yay for Hawaiians that bench press :)) They are seriously fit, in the literal and British sense of the word.
I am now at a loss as to which accent I love more, Australian accents or Hawaiian accents.
Wah, I'm going to miss them so much.
I will never forget the shopping day at Greenhills where a gay guy showed us his boob (Stewart's still probably scarred from that. So much for getting over homophobia). Nor will I forget the day in Saisaki when I told Justin he was eating Chicken guts. Or how much we teased Stewart about eating snake, lizards and crickets. Or how spikey Justin's hair is, or how conscious Avery is about being poked :)) Or how epic they are at bowling and billiards and definitely not how AWESOME they are with instruments.
They're leaving our condo for the airport at 1, right before my dad arrives from Cambodia at 3. I'm going to miss them dearly. Sincerely so. I DON'T WANT THEM TO LEAVE. They're like the awesome same-aged brothers I never had.
Hopefully we'll get to go to their grandfather's Golden Anniversary on October. I really really really really wanna see them again.
Please don't forget me D:
This has been the best weekend in my life so far. Thanks for that ;_; <3 Love you guys. Safe Trip. Keep in touch ;_;
